CLS/LC sand classifier with sand washing and separation for various types of wastewater: municipal and industrial.
It consists of a large conical tank for settling and washing the sand, and a screw for conveying and dewatering the collected material.
The conical shape of the tank, the special counter-current washing system and the low agitator speed wash the sand and remove organic matter.
The unit is fully sealed and covered so that odours cannot escape.
OPERATION
An inlet flange at the top of the tank feeds the material into the unit.
The conical shape of the tank and the screw rotation system create a rotating motion that washes and settles the sand.
The heavier sand particles settle on the tank floor, where a counter-current washing system washes them. An outlet on the side of the tank discharges the lightest material.
The screw on the floor of the unit can extract the collected, dewatered material and then discharge it into a container.
