EDWARDS Romania was founded in 1994 as a subsidiary of the Swedish EDWARDS group, one of the leading Scandinavian foreign trade and international commercial agency companies, founded in Gothenburg in 1915.
At first, the company's activity was limited to supervising the production that the Swedish company had placed in Romania for its international clients.
To meet the quality and efficiency requirements of demanding international standards, in 1996 EDWARDS Romania set up its first department dedicated to importing technologies and equipment for Romanian industry and infrastructure.
Through its network of international partners and collaborators, EDWARDS is also able to maintain and develop export markets in Scandinavia and Western Europe for Romanian manufacturers.
Today, EDWARDS operates as a holding company with several lines of business and specialised staff.
