The shaftless screw compactor is a combined unit that does 3 things at once: drainage, conveying and compaction.
It consists of:
• Drainage zone
• U-shaped conveying trough
• Compactor
The drainage zone is normally located below the compactor or before the inlet, and the material is then conveyed through the trough to the compaction module, allowing a volume reduction of up to 50%.
The unit is installed at an incline of 5° to 30°.
