For automatic level control, the KS float switch is impact- and shock-resistant, mercury-free and environmentally friendly. It is made using the latest overmoulding process, resulting in a fully sealed switching unit.
Applications
The KS float switch is used in liquids for control or signalling and responds to the liquid level. It is suitable for sewage.
Operation
Inside the KS float switch there is a moving ball which, depending on the liquid level, actuates a high-quality micro-switch. The recessed ball track guarantees reliable operation even when the cable is bent. The switching level difference is varied by adjusting the cable length from the fixing point
The minimum cable length of 50 mm corresponds to a minimum switching differential of 100 mm. The switching height is adjusted by raising or lowering the fixing point using a counterweight attached to the cable. Always make sure that the float's up-and-down travel is not obstructed
