The CABLERAKE automatic cable screen is suitable for operation in unfavourable conditions, in channels wider than 800 mm.
To ensure correct installation, it is recommended for very deep channels, where the hydraulic or chain system can be installed.
This mechanical screen consists of the following elements:
Main parts:
Housing: a single-piece (monobloc) unit made of hot-dip galvanized carbon steel or stainless steel (recommended). It supports the bar assembly, the drive system and the cleaning unit, and also acts as the guide along which the cleaning brushes travel.
Filter screen: made of straight bars with a rectangular or triangular cross-section, depending on the application. On large screens, the bars are grouped into modules. The bar spacing varies according to the project requirements. It can be dismantled for proper maintenance or replacement of individual parts. Made of stainless steel.
