REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM
Reverse osmosis removes chemical compounds that are hazardous to health from water, including: arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, copper, lead, nitrates, nitrites, radium, selenium, ammonium, bicarbonates, bromides, free chlorine, chlorides, magnesium, sodium, sulphates, zinc and aluminium, as well as turbidity, unpleasant taste and odour, and microorganisms.
The system consists of the following equipment:
Pre-filtration unit
20 and 5 micron cartridge filters to remove fine particles from the raw water. The cartridges are replaced with new ones when they become loaded.
Chemical conditioning unit
To increase performance and protect the system, acid dosing reduces the tendency of ions in the water to precipitate, and antiscalant dosing prevents clogging caused by precipitation.
High-pressure pumps
The pump provides the pressure needed to run the reverse osmosis system.
Membrane system
Automation and control panel
