Sulzer ABS AS 0530-0841 Submersible Pumps
Reliable pumps for wastewater removal
The AS range includes robust, reliable submersible pumps from 1 to 3 kW for pumping wastewater and sewage from buildings and sites. The pumps have encapsulated motors that are sealed against water pressure and fully flood-proof, available in standard and explosion-proof versions.
Main advantages
- Reliable operation thanks to the Contrablock system for solids from 40 to 80 mm and vortex impellers for fibrous materials
- High reliability, including in long-term operation
- Suitable for mobile or fixed installation
- Easy installation with automatic coupling system
- Available in standard or explosion-proof (Ex) version
Main applications
- Domestic and commercial wastewater, with or without faecal matter
- Removal of clear water, wastewater and sewage from buildings and sites
- Vortex hydraulics, particularly suitable for fluids containing fibrous or abrasive materials
- Two-inch version, ideal for pumping wastewater from underground car parks
- Contrablock hydraulics for handling larger amounts of solids or fibrous materials
- Thermal Control System (TCS) with thermal sensors in the stator, which stops the pump if it overheats and restarts it automatically once it has cooled (optional on the standard AS model)
- High-quality sealing unit with a silicon carbide mechanical seal between the motor and the hydraulic section; independent of the direction of rotation and resistant to thermal shock
- Oil-lubricated lip seal on the motor side
- Stainless steel rotor shaft, supported by ball bearings lubricated for life
- Ex protection in accordance with international standards II 2G Ex h db IIB T4 Gb and FM
- Available with three discharge sizes: DN 50 (G2"), DN 65 (G2½") and DN 80 (G3")
- Free-standing on support feet or fixed to a base
