Franklin Electric 4" CT High Efficiency System (HES4)
The Franklin Electric 4" CT High Efficiency System (HES4) is a submersible borehole solution with energy savings of up to 21% in motor efficiency compared with current asynchronous technology. It combines a 4" encapsulated synchronous NEMA submersible motor, a matching variable frequency drive (Drive-Tech MINI, Drive-Tech COMPACT or DrivE-Tech) and, for 400 V systems, a matching output filter; a 4" or 6" submersible pump can be supplied as an option.
Thanks to the high motor efficiency, the current is significantly lower, which may allow a smaller drop cable cross-section. The system has a power-factor-corrected input, built-in soft start and protection, speed control so the pump always matches the system, and Bluetooth 4.0 for remote control and maintenance via a mobile app.
