Sita SMP Series Medium-Pressure UV System
Sita Medium Pressure (SMP) UV systems use medium-pressure lamps from 300 W to 12 kW. Thanks to the high power of the lamps, they treat large water flows while keeping very compact dimensions and a small number of lamps.
The polychromatic emission (180–600 nm) of the medium-pressure lamps can break chemical bonds, so SMP systems also reduce unwanted chemical substances in the water. In swimming pools they lower the high concentration of combined chlorine – the main cause of red eyes, chlorine smell, skin irritation, allergies and asthma.
