Made of a shaftless spiral that rotates inside a trough (tubular or U-section) with one or more inlets or one or more outlets.
The absence of a central shaft allows sticky materials to be conveyed, which are usually hard to convey with a shafted screw. The bottom of the trough is protected with a wear-resistant HDPE or steel liner, depending on the material to be conveyed.
The conveyor can be configured to "discharge" or "feed" equipment, or according to the general layout of the plant.
The total length can easily be adapted to customer requirements.
The incline ranges from 0° to 30°, with a significant drop in efficiency: as a general rule, at a 30° incline the flow is up to 50% lower than at 0°, although the actual range depends on the material conveyed.
