The collected solids are conveyed into the inlet trough and enter the first drainage zone. In this zone, the water is separated from the solids. The solids are then conveyed to the discharge zone.
SFH spiral conveyors come with the following standard equipment:
- Support legs
- Top protective covers
- Inlet trough
- Water drain pipe.
Depending on the application, this equipment is recommended for the following processes:
- Water treatment plants
- Pumping and collection stations
- Irrigation stations
- Paper mills
- Agriculture
- Chemical industries
- Incineration plants, etc.
Spiral conveyors differ from conventional screw conveyors in the following ways:
- The conveyor consists of a shaftless spiral, made of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel.
- The shaftless spiral design gives the conveyor a high conveying capacity.
- The spiral conveyor can work by both "pushing" and "pulling" the material.
- The unit is very compact and takes up little space.
- Adding spirals allows the working incline of the spiral conveyor to be increased.
